Carol June Vaughan

Carol June Vaughan ascended peacefully into heaven on Aug. 29, 2015 at the age of 76. She was born on March 31, 1939 in Omaha, Neb. Carol was a woman of strong Christian faith and a beloved member of West Race Baptist church. She was a homemaker who cherished every loving moment with her family. Carol was especially passionate about her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as they were the joy of her life. Carol is survived by her devoted husband, Roger A. Vaughan; brother, Richard Olinger, daughter, Debra Rayner (Barry); son, Greg Vaughan; grandchildren, Tiffaney Turturro (Tony), Bryan Haskins (Kerri), Kelly Vaughan, Brandon Haskins, Michael Vaughan; great-grandchildren, Brynly Vaughan, Aiden Turturro, Kaden Haskins, Asher Turturro. Carol was preceded in death by her brothers, Wayne and Harold Olinger. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Powell Funeral home of Searcy.
