Donald Braden Pipkin

Donald Braden Pipkin, 87, of Sherrill, died Saturday, November 28, 2015 at home. He was born November 5, 1928 in Sherrill, son of M.H. and Myrtle Braden Pipkin. Mr. Pipkin was reared and received his early education in Pine Bluff, graduating from Pine Bluff High School. After serving in the United States Army, Mr. Pipkin returned to Sherrill. He owned and operated his family farm in Sherrill for many years. He was a member of Sherrill United Methodist Church, where he served as an adult Sunday School teacher, church treasurer and member of board of trustees. Mr. Pipkin was preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Taylor Pipkin; and his parents. Survivors include his sons, Robert Lee Pipkin (Kimberly Anne) of Sherrill and Robert Brasher (Jeanne) of Louisville, Kentucky; sister, Margie Sanders of Memphis, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Lauren Pipkin of White Hall, Taylor Pipkin-Garcia (Joshua) of White Hall, Jeremy Brasher (Sonia) of Little Rock and Justin Brasher (Crissy) of Fayetteville; two great-grandchildren, Katherine Pipkin and Oliver Pilcher and one great-grandchild, Baby Brasher, on the way. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 2, 2015 in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverend Paul Wooley officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Robinson's.
