Martha Tillery Milner

Martha Tillery Milner, age 89, of Hot Springs, Ark., passed away peacefully on Monday, November 30, 2015. Born March 20, 1926 in Bearden, Ark., Martha was the daughter of Warren and Ozella Richardson Gossett and was predeceased by husbands George W. Tillery and Barney J. Milner. Surviving are her children, Carl and Angie Tillery of Tulsa, Okla.; Marian and Jim McCarthy, also of Tulsa, and Susan and David Lind of Derby, Kan. Surviving grandchildren are Justin Tillery, Madeleine and Matt Kollaja, Chase Tillery, Caitlin McCarthy and Cathryn Lind. An avid reader, golfer and bridge player, Martha was a longtime member of the Hot Springs Country Club and the First Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Louisiana State University and enjoyed traveling all over the world. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who always had a smile on her face and a giving heart. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2015, at 1 p.m., Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery, 702 N. Mosby Ave., El Dorado, Ark. Pastor Mike Mason of Hot Springs will officiate. The family extends a special heartfelt "thank you" to all involved in Martha's life and her walk through Alzheimer's disease.
