Dana Lee Wilkins

Dana Lee Read Wilkins died peacefully Tuesday afternoon, December 1, leaving behind loving family and friends to celebrate her life. Dana married Alan Wilkins in the year 1986. They began to build their home, family, and business, sharing their lives with many in need, including animals requiring rescue. Their hearts grew as their family grew to include 11 Rottweilers in addition to stray dogs, cats, birds, etc. that needed a home. Later Dana added a horse to the menagerie. Besides her husband, Alan, she is survived by her parents, Bill and Martha Read, of North Little Rock; her sisters, Julie Mundy and husband, Mark, of Sherwood, Marsha Glanton, of Nashville, Tennessee, and Mary Read, of North Little Rock; nephews, Mark Mundy Jr. (M.J.), Brian Lavigne, and Trevor Glanton; and niece, Alex Mundy, who held a special place in her heart. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December, 5 at 9:30 a.m., at Indianhead Lake Baptist Church, 8601 Indianhead Dr, Sherwood, Ark. 72120 with burial to follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be held, on Friday, from 4-6:30 p.m., at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, Ark. (501-791-7400).
