William Chester Hill

William "Bill" Chester Hill, age 88, of Bentonville, passed away on December 2, 2015 in Bentonville. He was born May 8, 1927 in Dallas, Texas to the late P.C. and Mary Timbs Hill. Bill was a member of the Centerton First Baptist Church and had retired from Cooper Communities after 25 years of operating heavy equipment. He is survived by his wife, Stella "Neccie" Hill of Bentonville, one son, Larry Hill of Greenville, S.C., one daughter, Pat Looney of Bentonville, two stepsons, Bob Shipman of Terre Haute, Ind., Dale Shipman of Lebanon, Ohio, three brothers, Murrel, Jackie and Buddy all of Dallas, Texas, one sister, Alice of Dallas, 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Chock and Jimmy, three sisters Louise, Elsie and Betty, and by one stepson Dwayne. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 7 at 10 a.m. at Centerton First Baptist Church. A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 6 at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville from 2 until 4 p.m. Interment will be at the Bentonville Cemetery.
