Timothy Wayne "Tim" Scott, 57, of Bentonville, Arkansas passed away suddenly Thursday, December 3, 2015 in Bentonville. He was born July 25, 1958 in Benton, Arkansas to Robert Morton and Mary Medlock Scott. He was employed by Walmart for almost 31 years and opened over 400 stores in various states within his territory in addition to remodels and relocations; he enjoyed his work. He liked to watch the Razorbacks and the St. Louis Cardinals play. However, his true love was spending time with his family. He was an active member of Fellowship Bible Church in Northwest Arkansas. Tim was a true follower of Jesus Christ and exemplified The Lord in every way. He gently led and cared for his family with silent strength, unconditional love and generosity. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Sam Scott. Tim is survived by his wife of 24 years, Kathy Scott; son, Jarrod Chandler of the home; daughter, Kristin Mayer and husband, Paul of Bentonville; his mother, Mary Lou Scott of Benton; one brother, Bob Scott and wife, Waynette of Louisville, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Ethan Chandler and Makaela Mayer and many dear friends and co-workers. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m., Sunday, December 6, 2015 at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services of Rogers. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Monday, December 7, 2015 in the Chapel in the Bild Training Center at Fellowship Bible Church in Rogers, Arkansas with Pastor Mickey Rapier officiating. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at the Scott Family Cemetery on Congo Road in Benton, Arkansas with Rev. David Jones officiating.
