James Dale Farr

James Dale Farr, age 76, of Gravette, was called home on December 15, 2015. He was born in Pueblo, Colo., on March 9, 1939, to the late Don Otto and Enid (Smith) Farr. Jim was a man of deep faith. He began his relationship with the Lord on May 7, 1963, at Pilgrim Holiness Church in Pueblo, Col. He attended the Church of God, Holiness, in Gravette. He was a Registered Nurse and retired from the Veterans Administration. Survivors include his beloved wife of 41 years, Beverly (Tierney) Farr; children, James Scott Farr and wife Callie of Grand Prairie, Texas, Nadine St. John and husband David of Quapaw, Okla., Terry Tibbs and husband Robert of Pueblo, Colo., Nancy Martin of Fort Wayne, Ind., Kristina Thompson and husband Dan of Washington, John Jones and wife Gwen of Colcord, Okla., Susan Behrent and husband Brian of Camas, Wash.; brother, Donald Farr of Pueblo, Col.; 21 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, and one on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Raylene (Brown) Farr in 1973; and a brother, Melvin Farr. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. on Friday, December 18, 2015, at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Church of God, Holiness, in Gravette, officiated by Pastor Lonnie Witt. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
