James Davis Ferguson

James D. Ferguson, Sr., 76, of Searcy. On Saturday, December 12th went to rest in eternal glory with his savior Jesus Christ. He was born July 3, 1939 in Hernando, Mississippi, the son of Albert and Adele Ferguson. James is survived by two sons, James Ferguson, Jr. (Caroline) and Michael Ferguson (Melissa); two grandsons James D. Ferguson III "Trey" and Johnathan Bradford Ferguson "Ford". He is preceded in death by his parents, a bother, and his wife, Carol Ann Ferguson. James or J.D. as he was known by most was an elder at the First Presbyterian Church of Searcy. He retired from a long career with Eaton Corporation in 2004, and in retirement enjoyed spending time working in the yard, spending time in the kitchen and watching over his family.
