Loren Leanne (Devine) Lawrence

Loren Leanne (Devine) Lawrence entered into rest Monday, December 14, 2015, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas, after a five year battle with cancer. She was born October 14, 1984, in Tacoma, Washington. The family moved to Heber Springs, Arkansas, where she graduated high school in 2003. She attended ASU in Jonesboro, and graduated from ASU-Beebe. She was an Advanced Correctional Nurse at Craighead County Detention Center, where she not only cared for the medical needs of the inmates, but ministered the love of Christ. She was married to her best friend and love of her life, Mike Lawrence, with whom she had a son, Griffin McCoy Lawrence. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Faris L. and Wanda McCoy of Heber Springs and Dr. J.C. Devine of Bixby, Oklahoma, and a sister, Angela Marie Devine. In addition to her husband and son, she is survived by her grandmother, Dorothy Devine of Bixby, Oklahoma, parents, Dennis and Donna Devine of Heber Springs, her twin sister, Lindsey (John Paul) Hope of Olive Branch, Mississippi, brothers Greg (Amy) Devine of Henderson, Texas, and Scott (Tawny) Devine of Colorado Springs, Colorado, seven nieces and nephews, and countless relatives and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 16th, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Olmstead Funeral Home in Heber Springs. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, December 17th, at New Life Church in Heber Springs.
