Albert Ray Weaver

Albert Ray Weaver, 71, of Pine Bluff, died Wednesday, December 16, 2015. He was born June 23, 1944 in Blue Mountain, Arkansas, son of Ray Leon and Willie Jewell Blaylock Weaver. Mr. Weaver was reared and received his early education in Grady, graduating from Grady High School. He owned and operated Weaver Tree Service for many years. Before his retirement, Mr. Weaver's son, Robert, took over the business. Mr. Weaver was a member of Christian Life Church. He enjoyed hunting and gardening. He was a caring person and helped anyone who needed it. Albert would do things for people that other people would not even know about. He loved his family and his church. Mr. Weaver was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Albert Ray Weaver, Jr.; and granddaughter, Brittany Leeann Lloyd. Survivors include his wife, Julie Winkelman Weaver, whom he married April 16, 1965 in Pine Bluff; two sons, Robert Weaver, Sr. and Allen Weaver, both of Pine Bluff; two daughters, Donna Weaver Shelton and Anna Weaver, both of Pine Bluff; two sisters, Iva Nell Munn and Linda Moore, both of Hardin; brother, John Weaver of Hardin; and seven grandchildren, Ashley Weaver, Robert Weaver, Jr. (Leslie), Ryan Weaver (Savannah), Ambur Lloyd, Kelly Darrough, Jr., Kameron Darrough and Kayla Darrough; and one great-grandchild, Jaidyn Lloyd. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Monday, December 21, 2015 in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverend Bill Kiggins officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery.
