Betty Jean Pope

Betty Jean Pope, age 75, of Benton; passed away Monday, December 21, 2015. She was born November 15, 1940 in West, Texas to the late William and Lillian Pinter. Mrs. Pope retired from the Happi Name Store in Park Plaza and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Wesley Pope of Benton; daughter, Jennifer Beatty of Benton; sister, Joyce Pinter and husband Tony Mekhjian of Dallas, Texas; two grandchildren, Christine Elizabeth Pope and William Wesley Beatty and a great-granddaughter, Juliette Nicole Pope.
