Lillias M. Parette

Lillias M. Parette, 98, of Morrilton, went to be with the Lord on December 21, 2015. She was born November 17, 1917 in Higdon, Arkansas, a daughter of Lonnie J. Henderson and Ellen Marie Wellman Henderson. The family moved in a horse drawn wagon to the Morrilton area. Lillias was a charter member of the Church of Nazarene where she served in various capacities. She is survived by four children, David (Bonnie) of Oppelo, Pat (Gerald) Jamison of Alanta, Georgia, Ellen (Hervey) Bizzell of Conway, and Mike of Little Rock; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by John, her husband of 68 years; son, John and grandsons, Jason and Gary. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, December 24 at the Harris Chapel with Rev. Linda Huggins, Rev. Mike Atkinson, Rev. Duane Smith, and Dr. Bill Brown officiating. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
