Frances Jane Ess Payne

Frances Jane Ess Payne, 88, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, Dec. 21, 2015. She was born on July 25, 1927, in Tiger, Colo., to Harold and Beulah Ess. Frances was a long time resident of Cabot, but spent her last years in Broken Arrow, Okla., with her youngest daughter. This precious lady was loved by so many. She felt blessed with a wonderful husband, family, and many wonderful times in her life, and she was "ready to dance on the streets of gold"! What a joy and comfort it is to know that through Christ we will see her again someday. She was a member of Faith Christian Center. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harold & Beulah Ess; husband, Ralph Cary Payne; and son, Steven Craig Payne. She is survived by three daughters; Linda Pankey (Hank) of Titusville, Fla.; Cathy Payne of El Paso; and Cyndi Bell (Robert) of Broken Arrow, Okla.; one son, Danny Payne (Donna) of Cabot; 13 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren, as well as many other family members and friends. Visitation will Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, December 30, at Faith Christian Center in Jacksonville, Ark.
