Mary Elizabeth Boatman

MARY ELIZABETH ZUBER BOATMAN, of Sherwood, Ark. passed away on Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015. She was born Aug. 25, 1927 to Lee A. and Elsie Beck Zuber. Mary was raised in Sweet Home, Ark. She was a lifelong member of Westminister Presbyterian Church. Before her children were born, Mary worked at Block Realty and Twin City Bank. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mary was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Leaving to cherish her memories are her husband of 57 years, J B Boatman; her children, Beth (Jim) Harris, Lee (Anita) Boatman, Howard Boatman, Jay (Sandra) Boatman; grandchildren, Matthew (Jenna) Brush, Rebecca (Chris) Rutherford, Olivia Harris, Marie (Doug) Bjork, Seth (Lindsey) Boatman, Samuel Boatman, Hunter Boatman, Lauren Boatman, Kristen Boatman and Andrew Boatman; also survived by six great-grandchildren. Services will be held at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Rd. North Little Rock, on Tuesday, December 29 at 10 a.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Sweet Home, Ark. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of First Choice Senior Care.
