Tela Camille (Hughes) Ribble (Oct. 22, 1939–Dec. 25, 2015) Hot Springs, Ark. Tela Camille (Hughes) Ribble, age 76, of Hot Springs, Ark., passed away Friday, Dec. 25, 2015 at her home. She was born on Oct. 22, 1939 in Stamps, Ark. to John Golston and Ethel (Smith) Hughes. Mrs. Ribble attended Southern State College. She lived in Fort Smith, Ark. for 28 years where she was active in many community activities, including serving as president of the St. Edwards Hospital Auxiliary. She had been a resident of Hot Springs since 2006. While living in Hot Springs, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church, a member of the Garvin Woodlands Gardens Board, and a member of PEO. She enjoyed traveling, needlepoint, knitting crocheting, and painting. Mrs. Ribble was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Sebastian T. Webb. Mrs. Ribble is survived by her husband, Ronnie Ribble of Hot Springs, Ark.; a son, Steve Arrington and wife, Shanna of Van Buren, Ark.; two daughters, Charmane Rohr and husband, Rick of Breckenridge, Colo., and Tela Ann Webb and husband, Chris of El Dorado, Ark.; a brother, John Edward Hughes and wife, Billie; five grandchildren: Elizabeth Rohr Chandler and husband, Kyle, Andrew Rohr, Matthew Rohr, Sebastian T. Webb, and Sophie Louise Webb. She is also survived by Ronnie's sons, Alan Ribble and wife, Kerry of Texarkana, Ark. and Barry Ribble and wife, Kelley of Magnolia, Ark., along with their children: Sarah Duch and husband, Mark, Conner Ribble, and Parker Ribble; and four great-grandchildren: Thomas Duch, Coleman Duch, Marie Duch, and Hughes Chandler. Visitation with the family will be held from 6 p.m.-8 p.m., Monday, Dec. 28, 2015 in the Fellowship Hall of the First United Methodist Church in Hot Springs. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church in Hot Springs with Rev. Michael Maddox officiating. A brief graveside service and interment will follow at 4 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Magnolia, Ark. under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home. Honoring Mrs. Ribble as her pallbearers will be Alan Ribble, Barry Ribble, Conner Ribble, Parker Ribble, Mark Duch, Matthew Rohr, Johnny Smith, and Gary Blakney. The family request that memorials be made to CCMC, Garvin Gardens, or First United Methodist Church, all located in Hot Springs; or to the Union County Community Foundation- Sebastian Webb Fund of El Dorado, Ark.
