Frances Sue Ritter

Frances Sue Ritter, 94, of Camden, passed away Monday, December 28, 2015 at Saint Andrews Place in Conway. Mrs. Ritter was born October 15, 1921 in Sparkman, Ark. the daughter of John Leonard and Lalah Shambley Ray. She was a former member of The First Baptist Church in Camden, and retired from SAU Tech after 18 years of service. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Ritter; her daughter, Susan Cunningham, her son-in-law, Dr. Tommy Cunningham, and two brothers, Virgil Ray and Jack Ray. Survivors include her daughter, Margaret Jones and husband, David of Conway; her brother, Raymond Ray and wife, Lavena; grandchildren, Matt Jones and wife, Maria, and their children, Cole and Jake Jones; Tom Cunningham and wife, Alesheia and their children, Tyler, Addison, and Avery Cunningham; Mark Jones and wife, Traci and their children, Bella and Ritter Jones; and Becca Camp and husband, Jamie and their children, Andrew and Mason Camp; and two sisters-in-law, Frances Ray and Nadine Ray, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Ritter will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Proctor Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Ray Raines officiating. Burial will be in Sparkman Cemetery.
