Lela Levida Morgan

Lela Levida Morgan, age 97, of Morrilton, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015. Mrs. Morgan was born April 19, 1918 in Adona, Ark. a daughter to the late Isaac Thomas Young and Mora Bell Wroten Young. Mrs. Morgan loved working in her yard, gardening, she was an avid reader. Hungry for knowledge she read everything she could. Mrs. Morgan is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 72 years, Otis Morgan; son: Theral Morgan, daughter: Yuvonne Bender and granddaughter: Darlene Morgan. She is survived by her daughter: Carolyn Morris of California; sister-in-law: Mary Young of Adona; Four grandchildren: Wayne Morgan; Vanessa Steinmetz, Barbie Morris and Marlon Morris, seven great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Visitation will be 6 p.m. til 8 p.m., Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the funeral home chapel. Services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, December 30 at the funeral home.
