Annie Maude (Yates) Reed, age 91, went to be with her Lord on Monday December 28, 2015. She was of the Baptist faith. Ann was born in Ashdown, Ark. On November 26, 1924 to Lily Pauline Henderson and Harry Richmond Yates who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband George Reed, one great-grandchild, Amanda and her beloved son-in-law Billie C. Stewart. Survivors are her children, Wayne (Sue) Reed of Bigelow, Bob ( Jeanie) Reed of Fayetteville, Tony (Vanesa) Reed of Boles, Sheryl Stewart of Conway and Vicki Reed of Pine Bluff, 17 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren. Ann retired in 1986 with 38 years of service from South Western Bell Telephone. She and her husband raised cattle in Boles, Scott County, Ark., they called their 2nd home. She was a member of the Scarlet O'Hatter Red Hat Ladies and was a member of Telephone Pioneers. She loved her family, friends, travel, animals and dancing and was loved by everyone. She never met a stranger and never forgot anyone. She attended Arkansas State Teachers College (UCA) prior to being the 3rd generation telephone company employee in her family. The family would like to thank Lea Ann Clark, also Susan and David from Hospice Home Care for the loving care they gave our Mother. She loved them all. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hospice Home Care, 821 A. North Creek Drive, Conway, Ark. 72032. Pallbearers are Grandsons, Scooter, Scott, Jamie, Robbie and Chris Reed and Jeff Pierce. Honorary pallbearers are Grandsons Greg and Harold Wayne Newton and Ricky Simmons. Visitation will be at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2015. Funeral services will be at Life Song Baptist Church in Greenbrier at 10 a.m. Thursday morning with Brother Freddie Mark Wilcox officiation. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery.
