Sue Dean Spires Alden

Sue Dean Spires Alden, age 86, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015. She was born Nov. 19, 1928 in Lonoke County to the late L.M. Jack and Geral Dean Spires. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Crystal Marie Cothran; step mother, Naomi Spires; sister, Ruth Wood; two brothers, James Spires and Amos Spires. She is survived by her sister, Mary Blessing; step-sister, Alberta Tumbleson; sister-in-laws, Edith Alden Baba and Jo Spires; special friend and sister-in-law, Alena Spires; grandson, Casey Cothran; great-grandson on the way, Charles Anderson Cothran; lifelong friend, Betty Lou Lamb and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 2, 2015 at Pat Howell Cemetery in Lonoke County.
