Charles Edward Moore III

Born August 12, 1976 in Garland, Texas, Charles "Chuck" Edward Moore, III, passed peacefully into eternity in his sleep on January 31, 2015, in Searcy, Arkansas. Being the baby of the family, Chuck was dearly loved by all. He loved playing baseball-- catcher and slugger--and football, where his size made him a formidable lineman. He enjoyed music--listening to bluegrass, playing trumpet and singing, especially church music with the family. An outdoorsman, Chuck loved fishing and camping, and he had gift for making people laugh. Chuck earned two degrees from ASU-Beebe--in electronics technology and in computer systems technology--and his work incorporated both fields. In his later years, his greatest pleasure was spending time with his son, Charlie. They have had a lot of fun and enjoyed a close bond. Left behind to grieve are his good friend and ex-wife, Jennifer Moore; their beloved son, Charlie; parents, Charles and Faye; two sisters, Catherine (Jeff) Walker and Melissa (Alan) Pratt; uncles and aunts; Lloyd (Sherry) Moore, Neal (Kim) Moore, Mary K Woodruff (Tom), Jean (Bill) Adams, Oneal (Connie) Masters, Mary Etta (Donny) Russell, and Terry (Deborah) Masters. Grandparents were Charles Moore Sr., Mary Patrick, Kenneth Masters, and Genola Masters. Chuck was baptized into Christ at Foote Street Church of Christ in Corinth, Mississippi. Blessed be the name of the Lord. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Powell Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements by Powell Funeral Home of Searcy. www.powellfuneralhome.net.
