Mrs. Mary Lou Francis Dixon, age 88, of Gurdon, Arkansas entered into her heavenly home with Jesus on Monday, February 2, 2015 at Baptist Health Medical Center, North Little Rock, Arkansas. Mrs. Dixon was born on December 6, 1926 in Arkadelphia (Trinity Community) to the late Watson and Effie Lou Pentecost Francis. She worked at the Clark County Bank Insurance Department and at the Rita Nelson Income Tax. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church, Gurdon, Arkansas, Lucy Cabe Sunday School Class and Ora Steed Circle, until illness prevented her from doing so. She was preceded in death by her husband Dewey Dixon, her parents and by one sister, Gladys Isenburg. Survivors include two daughters Kay Hogue and Charles, Sherwood, Arkansas, Beverly Baggett, Little Rock, Arkansas; three grandchildren: David Hogue, Atlanta, Georgia, Michael Hogue, Sherwood, Arkansas, and Stacey and Lannie Page, Greenbrier, Arkansas; three great-grandchildren, Tyler Page, Ashley Page, and Brittany Hogue; two sisters-in-law, Mary Harris and Evelyn Dixon, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Family will receive friends Thursday, February 5, 2015 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church. Funeral service, 2 p.m., Thursday, February 5, 2015, at the First United Methodist Church, Gurdon, Arkansas with Rev. Travis Langley and Rev. Rusty Jones officiating.
