Barbara Lynn Boatman Foster, age 74, of Bentonville, Ark. died on Feb. 6, 2015 at Circle of Life Legacy Village. She was born on Dec. 26, 1940 in Gassville, Ark. to Elza Camward Boatman and Helen Belle Kibbe Boatman. She was a resident of Benton County all of her life. She enjoyed her 24 years of employment at Pel­ Freeze Rabbit Meat Company in Rogers, Ark. She was a member of Calvary Temple Pentecostal Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Edward Foster; one sister, Betty Jean Self; step-daughter, Diana Lynn Lewis; a grandson, Joseph A. Foster; a step­-granddaughter, Sonja JoAnn Foster and a step-grandson, Vonnie Emerson Hood. Survivors include her son, Elza Pitts and wife, Cheryl Foster of Bentonville; her daughter, Carla Dee and husband, Vince Rash of Charleston, Ark.; step-son, Harold Dewayne Foster of Rogers; sisters, Wanda June and husband, Dick Rogers of Bentonville, Kay Benningfield of Rogers, Linda Shackleford of St. Paul, Ark. and Brenda Boatman of Bentonville; one brother, Jim and his wife Carol Boatman of Rogers; 26 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren, all of Northwest Arkansas and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015 at Word of Life Church in Bentonville, with Pastor Dick Rogers and Pastor Matthew Foster officiate.
