Patsy Jane Thomas, 82, of Rogers passed away Friday, Feb. 6. She was born Aug. 9, 1932 to the late Hubert M. and Vesta Anderson Locke in Rogers and for more than 62 years was the loving wife of Jewel D. "J.D." Thomas Jr. She was named Queen of the Rodeo of the Ozarks in 1949 and a graduate of Rogers High School. Following retirement from a career with AT&T, she enjoyed traveling with her husband, going to flea markets and auctions and reading thousands of books. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Suvivors include her daughter, Karen (Steve) Kelly of Siloam Springs; sister-in-law, Pat (Jim) Miles of Texas; two grandsons, Jeremy (Andrea) Bertschy of Centerton and Casey Kelly of Siloam Springs and four great-grandchildren, Jaxon Bertschy of Centerton and Bekah, Rylee and Fletcher Kelly of Siloam Springs. A graveside funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery, with interment to follow.
