Sula Josephine Garrett

Mrs. Sula Josephine Garrett, 94, of Clarksville, passed away Monday, February 9, 2015 in Clarksville. She was born April 18, 1920, in Franklin County, Ark. to William Matthew and Josephine (Rogers) Davis. Sula enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and cooking. She was a wonderful housekeeper and was always doing something. Mrs. Garret is preceded in death by her husband; parents; grandson, Jeffery Garrett; five brothers; four sisters; son-in-law, Bill Williams. She is survived by her sons, Don and Jo Garrett of Clarksville, Keith and Hilda Garrett of Smithsville, Tenn.; daughters, Yvonne Williams of Huntington, Ark., Sue and David Forbus of Mabelvale, Ark.; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, February 10, 2015, at the 2nd Baptist Church in Clarksville. Mrs. Garrett's funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 2nd Baptist Church in Clarksville with Bro. Tom Dicus officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery. John Forbus, Scott Garrett, Dallas Tucker, Garrett Hudson, Cole McGowan, and Logan McGowan will be serving as Pallbearers.
