John Edward Kirkman

John Edward Kirkman, 72, of McGehee, Ark., passed away Monday, February 16, 2015 in McGehee. John was born on August 5, 1942 in Morehead City, N.C. to the late Jesse Gray and Lillie Mae Marks Kirkman. He was an electrician for 50 years. John loved to work in his garden and enjoyed going to flea markets. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Delores Mobley Kirkman; sons, Michael Kirkman of North Carolina, David Keilman of Cedar Lake, Ind., Daniel Keilman of Crownpoint, Ind., and Damon Keilman of Crownpoint, Ind.; daughters, Johnna Fuller of McArthur, Ark., Michaella Rauwols of Blaine, Wash., and Cheryl Letcher of Texarkana, Texas; brothers, Walter Kirkman of Little Rock, Ark., and William Kirkman of Nokima, Fla.; sisters, Jesse Ruth Duncan of North Carolina; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee, Ark. Funeral Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service Chapel in McGehee, Ark. with Rev. Steve Fleming officiating. Burial will be at McArthur Cemetery.
