Gene C Janway

Gene C. Janway, age 82, of Fayetteville passed away Monday February 16, 2015. He was born September 19, 1932 in Henryetta, Oklahoma to Cecil and Maggie Haddox Janway. He attended White Rock Pentecostal Church in Fayetteville. He retired from Tune Concrete and worked previously for the Coca Cola Company and also worked at the Washington County Sheriff's Office for 20 years. He was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Janway. He is survived by his daughter, Carole Woodard of Fayetteville; one son, Dick Janway and his wife Vicky of West Fork, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Candice Higginbottom, Randy Woodard Faira Sexton, Fawna Janway and Felicia Bailey and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. Thursday February 19, 2015 at Moore's Chapel. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Moore's Chapel with burial to follow at Mount Comfort Cemetery in Fayetteville under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
