Jimmy Z Meeks

Jimmy Zack Meeks, 84, of Conway, Arkansas passed from this life on February 15, 2015. He was born on August 3, 1930 to the late Z.T. Meeks and Mary Russell in Mayflower, Arkansas. Jimmy worked for Chicopee Manufactoring for over 23 years before opening his own restaurant which he retired from. He also served in the United States Air Force. Jimmy is survived by his wife of 68 years, Demzel Harmon Meeks, their daughter; Lynn Wharton, four grandchildren; Gary Lynn Wharton, T.C. Wharton, Chad Meeks (Holly), and Amanda Rodnick (Kerry), daughter-in-law; Susan Meeks, eight great-grandchildren, two sisters; Mildred Long and Mary Collins. He is also survived by Tina Wharton, Amy and Georgia Wright, and numerous other family members and friends. He is also preceded in death by his two sons; Rickey and Joe Meeks, one granddaughter; Elaine Wharton, two sisters and three brothers. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Roller McNut Funeral Home in Conway with burial to follow at Mayflower Cemetery.
