Larry Shepherd

Larry Shepherd, age 66, of Little Rock, died Monday, February 16, 2015, after a short illness. He was employed by the Bryant School District. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Doris Shepherd; his sister, Charlene Brinton, and his grandson, Max Baxley Shepherd. He is survived by his wife, Barbara and three sons: Matt and wife, Pam; Tony and wife, Karen; Michael and wife, Hollie. Also surviving him are five grandchildren: Cooper, Zoë, Logan, Mason and Jordyn; his sister, Donna Doggett, and brother, Randy Shepherd and his wife, Robbie, as well as a host of family and friends. Larry loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He was unashamed in his opinion that his grandkids could do no wrong. Second to his family, he loved the Razorbacks and believed it was his duty to teach each grandchild to "Call the Hogs". The funeral service honoring his life will be Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church Benton.
