Linda Marie Nordin

Linda Marie McCann Nordin, age 64, of Jacksonville went to be with her Lord on Saturday, February 14, 2015. She was born February 22, 1950 in Washington D.C. to Philip McCann and the late Marjorie Eloise Madden McCann. She was employed with the Department of Human Services for 40 years where she was the manager of the medical review team. Mrs. Nordin was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church in Jacksonville. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and going to the beach. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Lanny Nordin of Jacksonville, one daughter, Erica Owens and her husband Brandon of Sherwood, one granddaughter, Emma Owens, her father, Philip McCann of Fredericksburg, Va., siblings; Kathie Spaine (Tim O'Neal) of Locust Grove, Va., Michael McCann (Debbie) of Leland, N.C., Stephen McCann of Lorton, Va. and Debbie Billings (Patrick Hall) of Temple Hills, Md., mother-in-law, Mildred Nordin of Berryville, Ark., brothers-in-law; Danny Nordin (Cindy) of Stanley, Kan., Everett Nordin Jr., of Berryville, Ark., and one sister-in-law Julie Nordin of Berryville, Ark. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, February 20, 2015 at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church in Jacksonville with Father Andy Smith officiating.
