BONNIE JEAN BERG, 85, of Little Rock, passed away peacefully Wednesday Feb. 18, 2015. She was born Feb. 15, 1930 in Pangburn, Ark. to the late Eugene and Bertha Doss McCourt. Bonnie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who adored and prayed unceasingly for her family. She was a parish member at Our Lady of Good Counsel and had a deep devotion to her faith. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, John A. Berg Jr (former owner of Berg & Son Machine Shop in Little Rock); grandson, John Steven Berg; and great-granddaughter, Abigail Earnest. She is survived by two sons, Joseph Anthony (Patsy) Berg of Benton and Ted Douglas (Sandy) Berg of Little Rock; four daughters, Carolyn Anne (John) Jackson of Little Rock, Donna Kay (Bob) Rieck of Prattsville, Mary Catherine Berg of Benton, and Terri Lynn (Matthew) Conrad of Benton; 18 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 5 p.m., Sunday at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth in Little Rock followed with a rosary service beginning at 6 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 p.m., Monday at the Cathedral of St. Andrew Catholic Church with Rev. Chinnaiah Irudayaraj Yeddanapalli "Fr. YC" officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Carmelite Fathers at Marylake in Little Rock.
