KATHLEEN MARY (PANUS) ESCHBACHER, age 80, of North Little Rock, died peacefully in the hands of our Lord on Feb. 19, 2015, in Little Rock, Ark. Kathleen was born in St. Louis, Mo. on Aug. 26, 1934 to Peter and Loretta Panus. She is survived by her beloved husband, Richard Eschbacher, of 59 years; son, Kevin R. Eschbacher and wife, Virginia and grandchildren, Peter and Mollie; and granddaughter, Samantha Reagan of North Little Rock, Ark.; son, Randall R. Eschbacher and his wife Jill and grandson, Zachary and granddaughter, Alyssa Becton of North Little Rock, Ark.; daughter, Laura Jane Harris and her husband Michael and grandchildren Isaac and Kady of Sioux Falls, S.D.; daughter, Carolyn J. Cato and her husband Roger of Sherwood, Ark.; and brother, Raymond Panus and wife Judy, of St. Louis, Mo., and numerous nieces and nephews. Kathleen is preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Loretta Panus; a daughter, Ellen A. Eschbacher of North Little Rock, Ark,; and a brother, Eugene Panus of St. Louis, Mo. Kathleen was a true patient and loving child of God while raising five children within the age-range of seven years of each other while her husband traveled for business throughout the state of Arkansas. Kathleen was involved in the Altar Society of Immaculate Conception Church, Arkansas Kairos Prison Ministry and coach of numerous girls' softball and basketball teams. She was also a genuinely fantastic and magnanimous "cheerleader" to all she encountered. One of her favorite hobbies was watching the St. Louis Cardinal Baseball team play on T.V. during the summer with her husband, Dick. Visitation with Kathleen's family is Monday, Feb. 23 from 5:30-7 p.m. at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home. Rosary devotion follows at 7 p.m. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Kathleen on Tuesday, Feb. 24 at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Parish in North Little Rock, Ark.
