Margaret H. Hester

Margaret H. Hester, age 71, of Lake Village, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2015 at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville, Miss. She was born April 9, 1943 in Clarksdale, Miss. to the late William M. Hawkins and Dorothy Collins Hawkins. She was a member of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Lake Village. Mrs. Hester had a positive effect on thousands of students over her 40 years at Washington School and seven years at Carrie Stern as an educator in Greenville, Miss.The world will be short one great cook. Survivors, just celebrated their 50th anniversary, husband, Frank Hester, of Lake Village; two brothers, William M. Hawkins and wife, Suzanne, of Little Rock, and Andy Hawkins and wife, Kim of Conway; two nieces; two nephews; eight great-nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Celebration of Life Service will be held and posted at later date and time. In lieu of flowers donations to: Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Lake Village, P.O.
