Sarah McBryde

Sarah McBryde, age 83, of White Hall, died Friday, Feb. 20, 2015, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Mrs. McBryde was born Feb. 1, 1932, in Camp, Ark., a daughter of the late Erwan Branam and Mary Newberry Branam Tucker. Mrs. McBryde was reared and received her education in Parma, Mo., where she graduated from Parma High School. She moved to Pine Bluff in 1958 from Sikeston, Mo. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was a former member of Beta Sigma Phi. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wayne McBryde; son, Alan Lowrey; and a brother, James Branam. Survivors include two sons, James and Steven Lowrey both of White Hall; two daughters, Kathy and Ed Olmstead of Heber Springs and Gwen Lowrey of White Hall; and two granddaughters, Jenny Lowrey of Little Rock and Jessica Lowrey of North Carolina. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son Funeral Directors with Reverend Matt Weaver officiating.
