Josephine Abraham of North Little Rock, Ark. also affectionately known as "Baby Jo" made her heavenly transition from earth to Glory Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2015. She was born in Oneida, Ark. to Waymond Clemmons and Ethel Hill who preceded her in death along with sisters, Willene Green, Cassie McDaniel, Rosemary Warren, Jessie Mae Clemmons, Betty Rice, Beatrice Coleman and Rosie Lee Elevy. She worked many years in the nursing field at St. Vincent Hospital and the Veterans Hospital in North Little Rock, Ark. She's survived by her husband of 37 years, Pastor Odell Abraham of Mt. Harmony Baptist Church where she served faithfully as 1st lady for 17 years; three sons, Marcus Jodell Abraham, Michael Walker (Rhonda) and Reginald Allen Howard; one brother, James Lee Wright (Mary); and one sister, Christine Thomas, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends. Not only did she have a sweet and gentle spirit but also an entrepreneur spirit, she along with her husband helped found O.J's Janitorial Services, Jodell's Enterprises, a real estate investment firm and presently New Life and New Beginning Thrift Stores which fund the Metamorphose Foundation a nonprofit organization which provides substance abuse, life skills counseling and classes. She was loved and will be missed by all whose lives she touched. A celebration of her life will be on Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015, 12 noon. Interment will follow at Arkansas Memorial Gardens, NLR, Ark. Family visitation will be Monday, Feb. 23, 2015, 6-7 p.m., both services will be at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church, 1224 S. Chester Street, Little Rock, Ark.
