Doyle L. Wiles

Rev. Doyle L. Wiles, age 91, of Bentonville, passed away February 24, 2015, at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville. He was born in Laverne, Okla., on October 22, 1923, to the late Alonzo and Mary (Robinett) Wiles. He was a US Navy veteran of World War II. As an ordained minister in the Apostolic faith, he served as pastor of churches in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas and California, most recently serving at the Apostolic Mission in Cave Springs. Also, he was on the Board of the Apostolic Faith Bible College in Baxter Springs, Kan. He was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Jo Wiles; children, Katy Osborn and husband Jim of Guymon, Okla., Delvin Wiles and wife Rita of Bedford, Texas; a sister, Marie Skinner of Liberal, Kan.; five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Mary (Gaston) Wiles; daughter,s Marva Jo Gibbs and Marcena Clark; two granddaughters; one great-grandson; one brother; and three sisters. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 25, 2015, at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday in the Callison-Lough Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Rev. Ted Barker and Rev. Jack Cornell. Burial will follow in Bentonville Cemetery.
