Maurice Cordell (Corky) Simbler lost his fight February 20, 2015. He was born on May 20, 1965 in Chicago, Illinois to his parents, Bernice Simbler and Roosevelt Johnson. He was preceded in death by his father, three brothers, Danny, Wesley and Larry, and both maternal grandparents. He had a love for music, and received a Degree in English from Gustavus College in Minnesota. Maurice leaves with a great loss, his mother, Bernice Simbler of North Little Rock, brother, Kenith (Hilarian) Houston/Tyler, Texas; sister, Gertie Jones (Ed) Washington (best friend), loving wife of 10 years, Brandy Adams. Stepfather, Perlie McPherson of Chicago; sons, Anthony and Dylan, one daughter, Madilyne, six grandchildren, huge hosts of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends. Funeral Services, 11 a.m., Saturday, February 28, 2015, Hubble Chapel. Family Hour will be one hour before the service.
