Janet Wallis

Janet Sue Godwin Wallis, 75, of Malvern died on Tuesday, December 30, 2014. She was a member of Taylor's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and former board member of the HSC 4-H Foundation. She was born in Sevier County on October 20, 1939, to the late Carl Lee and Ray Cantlon Godwin. She was preceded in death by a baby sister, Betty Jean Godwin; two brothers, Raymond Lee Godwin of Colorado and David Leon Godwin of De Queen. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Orman Wallis; one daughter, Sue Ellen Dillard and a son-in-law, Pat Dillard of El Dorado; one grandson, John Wallis Dillard of El Dorado and one granddaughter, Samantha Meghan Culwell and a grandson- in-law Blaine Culwell of Monticello. Visitation will be from 1-2:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 3 at Regency Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be at 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 3 at Cooper Cemetery with Brother Jerry Scroggins officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Taylor's Chapel Church, the Hot Spring County 4-H Foundation or the charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements are by Regency Funeral Home.
