Margaret Jean Fisher

Margaret Jean Fisher left this life Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at age 81. Margaret is survived by her husband of 61 years, Paul G. Fisher. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Beatrice Crawford; a sister, Kaye Rice; and Brothers Jimmy Crawford, Bobby Crawford, Willie Crawford, and Robert Crawford; and special friend of the family, Matthew Cannatella. Margaret is also survived by sisters Doris Carter, Patsy Wilson, Carolyn Green, Phyllis Wilder, and Deborah White; a brother Kim Crawford; and close friends Jim and Joni Cannatella, and Chris and Heather Cannatella. Margaret was born in Humnoke, Ark., December 19, 1933, and she and Paul have lived in Lake Village for 56 years. She was the administrative assistant in the Chicot County Judge's office for ten years, and deputy assessor for sixteen years during her husband, Paul's service. She was a member of the Lake Village Baptist Church. Margaret enjoyed traveling, golf, fishing, and was an avid fan of Arkansas Razorback football and basketball. She was a member of the Ladies Golf Association, the Lake Village Chamber, and the Lake Village Jaycettes. Visitation will be held 5–7 p.m. Friday, January 2 at Bishop-King Funeral Home, with Funeral Services Saturday, January 3 at 10 a.m. at the Lake Village Baptist Church. Arrangements under the direction of Bishop-King Funeral Home of Lake Village. The family requests memorials be made to the Lake Village Baptist Church.
