Patsy Ruth Dunn

Patsy Ruth Dunn, 84, of Hot Springs passed away on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015. She was born at Center Ridge, Ark. on June 26, 1930 to the late Orville and Etta Sheridan Stobaugh. Patsy was a member of Airport Road Church of Christ and she worked for almost 35 years at the Arkansas State Hospital in Little Rock. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother with a heart of gold. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, William Harvey Dunn Jr.; her son, William Harvey Dunn III; brothers, Odie, Dean, Jimmy, Don, Danny and Ronald Stobaugh and her sister, Billie Jean Martin. Survivors include her son, Gary Dunn of Hot Springs; two brothers, George and his wife, Jeanette Stobaugh and Varnold Stobaugh, both of Morrilton; sister, Betty Lou Dunn of Conway; sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Stobaugh of Frisco, Texas, Paula Stobaugh of Little Rock and Donna Stobaugh of Russellville and many loving nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, Jan. 4 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Gross Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, Jan. 5 at 11 a.m. at Gross Funeral Home, with Bro. Jack Smith officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers included Dr. Randy Hill and staff, Lake Hamilton Health and Rehab Center Staff, with special thanks to Earnestine for the loving care she gave to Mom, John and Beverly Herring and the Airport Road Church of Christ members. Pallbearers include Gene Watson, Ben Walker, Stuart Smedley, Max Bonds, Ted Lewis and John Evans. Memorials may be made to the Airport Road Church of Christ Youth Fund.
