Kay Frances Allen Grayson, 78, of Bald Knob, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, January 3, 2015. Kay was born on October 26, 1936 to Curtis Allen and Lois Kinard Allen at the Allen family home place in the Spotsville community and grew up in El Dorado. Kay married Ernest Grayson Jr. of Bald Knob in 1956, after meeting at State Teachers College in Conway. They were blessed with two children, Barth and Beth. Kay was a woman of many talents. Her love of music, through piano and song, are well remembered. Kay was also a talented artist, chef and decorator. Kay was a member of Central Baptist Church in Bald Knob. Kay was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Grayson Jr. and her parents. She is survived by her son, Barth and his wife Amy, of Bald Knob, grandchildren, James and Sarah Grayson, her daughter, Beth Grayson Stout, of Rogers, grandchildren: Jamie Grayson of New York, Jennifer Buske of Rogers, and Olivia and Elizabeth Stout of Prior Lake, Minnesota, sisters: Marjorie Lensgraf of Knoxville, Tenn., Phoebe Sue Allen of Austin, Texas, and Carol Smoak of Palm City, Fla. Kay is also survived by five great-grandchildren, Everlynn, Vivian, Grayson, and Veda Buske, and Lola Stout. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 7, at 1 p.m. with services to follow at 2 p.m. at Central Baptist Church in Bald Knob. Burial will take place at the Grayson Family Cemetery, near Prince Cemetery in Bald Knob.
