Iva Goodwin Ashmore

Iva Goodwin Ashmore, age 95, of Pine Bluff, died Friday, January 2, 2015. Born January 9, 1919 near Lonoke, Ark., she was a daughter of the late Wesley Powell Goodwin and Laura Bell Hayes Goodwin. Mrs. Ashmore was a retired nurse's aide and a member of Linwood Baptist Church. She was also predeceased by her husband, Tom Ashmore; brothers, R.J. Goodwin and Josh Goodwin; and a sister, Susie Goodwin Jones. Survivors include her sons, Billy G. Jones and Harold G. Jones; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will held Saturday, January 10, 2015, 2 p.m. at Linwood Baptist Church, 8932 Highway 65 South, in the Moscow community. Rev. Garey Scott will officiate.
