James Carroll Fuel Sr.

James "Jim" Carroll Fuel Sr., age 72, of Jacksonville, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2015. He was born July 28, 1942 in Little Rock to Carey and Rachel Fuel. Jim served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He had a passion for fishing. Jim was preceded in death his father and a son, Carey Daniel Fuel. Survived by mother, Rachel Fuel of Jacksonville; wife, Linda Fuel of Texas City, Texas; children, James Fuel Jr. and Dorothy "Dottie" Hill, both of Virginia Beach, Va.; sister, Norma Gray; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Chapel with Reverend Timothy Hicks officiating. Visitation will be from 12-1 p.m. prior to the service.
