Kelley Kirkpatrick

Kelley Kirkpatrick --son, brother, uncle, husband and father -- passed away on January 4, 2015 after a long illness. He was born on June 26, 1955 to Dr Hoyt Kirkpatrick and Betty Lou Rhodes Kirkpatrick of Fort Smith, Arkansas, where he grew up. A 1974 graduate of Southside High School in Fort Smith, Kelley there first showed his remarkable ability as a golfer, winning the Arkansas Junior Golf Championship, and was awarded a scholarship to play for the Texas Longhorns. While at UT he a member of Lambda Chi Alpha. Kelly was active in the sports marketing business in Dallas and elsewhere. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Pamela and their two children, Emily Steen and Sean Michael both of Northwest Arkansas, sister, Terry Kirkpatrick and her husband Ray Guzman of Long Boat Key, Fla.; brothers Neal Kirkpatrick and his wife Rosie of Tulsa, Okla.; Dennis Kirkpatrick and his wife Cathy of Fayetteville, Ark.; Dr Michael Kirkpatrick and his wife Patricia of Temple, Texas; father and mother-in-law, Charles Warner and Sally Ridgway of Georgetown Texas, sisters-in-law, Gretchen Callender and her husband Wes of Cary, S.C., Stephanie Mickel and her husband Dr Timothy Mickel and Susan Greene and her husband David of Duluth, Ga., as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. There will be a private family service. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials may be made to The First Tee Foundation, 2909 Cole Ave. Suite 305 Dallas, Texas 75204.
