Louise A. Taylor

Ms. Louise A. Taylor, 85, of Fayetteville, passed away January 9, 2015 in Fayetteville. She was born January 9, 1930 in Hydro, Okla. Louise was a Captain in the United States Marine Corps and worked at Encyclopedia Britannica. She was a graduate of The College of the Ozarks in Clarksville and was a Fulbright Scholar with a diploma in English Studies from the University of Nottingham in Nottingham, England. She received a Master of Arts from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Science from the University of Illinois. She worked at the Library of Congress until her retirement to Grand Junction, Colo. She later moved to Butterfield Trail Village in Fayetteville. Louise was a 50 year member of the Belle Grove Eastern Grove. She was a Presbyterian by faith. Ms. Taylor is preceded in death by her parents, Ruel and Netta (Barber) Taylor. She is survived by her sister, Ruelene and D.J. Turner; three nieces; one nephew and several cousins.
