Caroline M. Favre, 93, of Conway, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2015. She was born September 9, 1921 in Conway, Ark. to the late Leo E. Favre and Josephine Ficker Favre. Caroline was also preceded in death by six brothers, Father Alphonse Favre, Lee Favre, Carl Favre, John Favre, Joe Favre, and Pete Favre, three sisters, Mary F. Hiegel, Sister Winifred Favre, and Katie Favre. Caroline was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a member of the Christian Ladies of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She also sang in the Church Choir for many years. Caroline joined School Sisters of Notre Dame and taught school for nine years in St. Louis and also was a teacher for two years at the Good Shepherd School in Conway. Caroline was later employed at Hiegel Lumber Company in Conway. After working for Hiegel Lumber Company, she returned to teaching at St. Joseph School in Conway until her retirement. Caroline is survived by one sister, Sister Laurene Favre of Barling, Ark. and ten nieces and nephews. Rosary will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, with visitation following. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Father Robert Cigainero serving as Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Andrew Hiegel, Philip Hiegel, Tommy Hiegel, Norbert Favre, Louis Favre, and Raymond Henze.
