Wilburn Preston Moore

Wilburn Preston Moore, age 88, of Beebe passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2015. He was born August 23, 1926 in Hazen, Arkansas to the late Edison Moore and Grace Cavniss Moore. He was preceded in death by his previous wife, Julia Moore and three sisters. Mr. Moore was an Army Veteran and served in Japan. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Beebe. Mr. Moore worked as a supervisor at Timex for many years. He is survived by his wife, Doris Moore of Beebe, children; Doyle Moore of Conway, Kenneth Moore of Dover, and Dena Rust of Arizona, siblings; Peggy Lucas, Charlene Highfill, Marilyn Tefteller, Walsie Jennings, and Eddie Moore. He also leaves behind ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, January 16, 2015 at Moore's Funeral Home Chapel in Cabot.
