Charlotte Mary Hughes

CHARLOTTE MARY HUGHES died Monday, Jan. 12, 2015 at Sherwood Nursing and Rehab Center in Sherwood, Ark. She was born on Aug. 12, 1925 to Irivng and Charlotte (Fitzgerald) Barager in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Owain and Mary were married on June 19, 1948 in Eau Claire, Wis. She was preceded in death by her husband, retired Lt. Col. Owain J Hughes, her parents and sister, Susan (Barager) Wittenberg. Survived by a nephew, Thomas Wittenberg; niece, Wendy Stenzel of Onalaska, Wis. and sister-in-law, Barbara Hughes Rice of Sparta, Wis. Burial will take place in the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, alongside her husband. Memorials to charity of choice. Arrangements by Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home.
