Vivian Hatcher Fritts

VIVIAN HATCHER FRITTS of North Little Rock went home to be with the Lord on Jan. 16, 2015. She was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Fritts in 2014. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Harvey Fritts and daughter, Barbara Wade of Hot Springs; two granddaughters, also of Hot Springs, Cyndi Thresher; great-grandson, Bryson and great-granddaughter, Brooke Thresher; granddaughter, Cherri Mertz-Hatley (Gerald Hatley) and great-grandson, Peyton Mertz. Also step-granddaughters of Wye Mountain, Nancy Lynn Merrill and Susan Van Rossum, who provided support, care and love during her last few years while also bringing laughter and joy to her life. Her caregiver Kallee Allen, whose big brown eyes she loved and special neighbors, Mike and Robin McGowan, who provided such loving support for several years. She leaves four sisters and one brother. Vivian was an avid and passionate doll collector, master gardener and peddler of all things and loved to travel. She was loved by her family who are comforted that she had a new heavenly home. Graveside service will be Monday, Jan. 19 at 1 p.m. at Arkansas Memorial Gardens in Jacksonville, Ark. www.arkansasfuneralcare.com
