Byron (Bill) Lozano

Byron Thomas (Bill) Lozano, age 81, of Benton, passed away Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015. He was born Nov. 26, 1933 in Little Rock, Ark. Mr. Lozano served in the Navy during the Korean War and was a Certified General Technician for Russell Chevrolet for 38 years. He was past president of Mid-Arkansas Radio Control Society and an avid hunter. Mr. Lozano was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Ferne Lozano. He is survived by his wife, Geneva Lozano; two daughters, Sarah Dunn (Mark) and Linda Gildner (Mel); brother, John Michael Lozano; sister, Elissa Kuykendall; nine grandchildren, Jennifer Joiner Wyse (Chris), Michael Joiner, Nick Joiner, Gil Gildner, Ellis Gildner, Leigh Anna Gildner, Henry Gildner, Catharine Gildner and Max Gildner; and two great-grandchildren, Cohen and Verity Wyse. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 20 at Ashby Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Pine Crest Memorial Park. Bro.
