Katherine Darleen McQueary

Mrs. Katherine Darleen "Kathy" McQueary, 56, of Rogers, Ark., departed this life on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Ark. after suffering a massive heart attack. Kathy entered this life on Dec. 16, 1958, in Wichita, Kan., born to the late Wallace Edwin Edwards, Sr. and Verna Mae (Staton) Edwards. She was raised in Douglas, Kan. and was a graduate of Douglas High School. She furthered her education by obtaining her associates degree in accounting from Crowder College in Neosho, Mo. In 1983, she moved her family to McDonald County Missouri. For the last 15 years she has been employed by Wal-Mart Home Office as a business analyst. Kathy has been a resident of Rogers, Ark., since March of 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter Robbins on March 11, 2005; two grandsons, Mark Allen McQueary and Adam McGonigal; and four siblings, Elizabeth Edwards, Linda Edwards, Mary West and Clyde Edwards. Kathy is survived by one son, Shane McQueary and wife, Jennifer, of Rogers, Ark.; a daughter, Crystal Farriester and husband, Robert, of Rogers, Ark.; five grandchildren, Stormy, Madyson, Kiera, Cody and Emily; two brothers, Eddie Edwards and wife, Lorriane, of San Antonio, Texas and David Edwards, Sr. and wife, Rosa, of Seneca, Mo.; a sister, Vicki Leitch of Goodman, Mo.; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends. Visitation for Mrs. McQueary will be held on Monday evening, Jan. 19, 2015, from 5-7 p.m. in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes. A memorial services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Goodman, Mo.
